chief executive ‘Sol Trujillo’ last month threatened that Telstra would pull
out of the tender process to build a new Australian FTTN high speed Broadband
network. It now appears that Telstra have done an
‘about face’ with Chairman Don Macgauchie saying they have not
withdrawn, but the possibility to do so still remains.
"TELSTRA has no immediate plans to pull out of a government tender process to build a high-speed broadband network, chairman Don Mcgauchie said."
