Broadbandguide site plans are subjective not objective

You most probably will not publish this blog however I am dissapointed this site is not objective in order to give people real choice in order to allow them to make an informed choice in deciding to pick a provider.

Firstly, under 'Wireless Providers' your mobile broadband plans are all linked to one  mobile network Optus. Virgin is 100% owned by Optus and Dodo resells the Optus network. How is this choice? Why have you not included mobile broadband plans from '3' or Vodafone networks??

In doing a search on all four carriers, '3' has the cheapest wireless plans at high speeds and Vodafone has the biggest download plans (5GB) for a very competitive price to aggressively compete not just for wireless plans but even rivals fixed broadband plans.

You need to also offer Telstra mobile broadband plans because even though Telstra mobile broadband plans are very expensive (if not the most expensive in the western world based on Average Weekly Earnings) they have the biggest network footprint (98% of the populatated areas) fastest wireless speeds (only on their Next G mobile network) which are up to 14 MB per second download speeds and soon to be upgraded to 21MB per second speeds. If you are a SOHO or SME customer then you might not mind paying 50% to 100% extra to get the speed and coverage.

Please give us real choice in your wireless broadband plans (unless you are affiliated with Optus or only Optus is willing to pay Broadbandguide  to be included in the guide??

Secondly, with the fixed broadband plans why have you not inlcluded TPG and Internode in your fixed broadband plans. Both of these providers have very aggressive reduced pricing on very large broadband downloads?

Again, please provide us with more competitive choices for high downloads and high volume downloads with fixed broadband plans

    For your information....

Although Broadband Guide endeavors to have all the very best Broadband Providers listed on our site, it sometimes isn't possible as the decision also lays with the Providers themselves. Certain ISPs may not choose to be listed on Broadband Guide for various reasons.

I can assure you that every possible effort is constantly being made by the team at Broadband Guide to ensure that all the best Providers have the opportunity to appear on the site, so we recommend that you frequently visit Broadband Guide for possible new inclusions.

    Regards,

    Broadband Guide

Firstly, we do not list providers on this site without their permission. Secondly there are hundreds of existing providers across Australia and listing them all (along with their broadband technology options) would be a logistical nightmare.

Establishing and maintaining ongoing relationships with Australia's leading providers (such as those you have stated) can be very tedious and trying for a number of various reasons, however we are constantly working hard to achieve this.

    Thanks for the feedback.
