I travel for 3-6 months at a time out of Australia, and I need a plan that allows me to go in 'sleep mode', while I'm away, and back to a decent bandwidth when I'm in town....  any ideas which provider will listen?

 I'm out of plan now, and about to leave the country for 6 months.

My area has ASDL2 but no cable
